Minnesota Woman Warns About Facebook Scam that Deletes Your Photos and Memories
Jessica Jacobsen said she first noticed something was very wrong with her Facebook account about a month ago.
Jacobsen told KARE 11 that she tried logging on about a month ago and had been locked out. She said, "They changed my name to all Arabic and started deleting most of my memories."
She was finally able to get back on to her account but when she did she saw that she had been added to the Facebook group “هكر الدوله المصريه” which translates to "Egyptian Government Hacker."
The Minneapolis woman reported the group to Facebook more than 20 times over the course of three weeks, trying to get the group deleted, but Facebook didn't respond so she contacted the FBI.
