Minnesota’s Most Expensive House Has it’s Own Private Peninsula
I've seen some real cool houses in my day, but never have I ever been inside a house that has it's own private peninsula.
Yep, you read that right. The house has a nearly 360-degree view of Lake Minnetonka with almost 1,700 feet of frontage on Wayzata Bay. YES, PLEASE!!! The house is not only perfect from the outside - wait until you see the inside.
It was built in 2016 and according to the listing, has an East coast shingle-style design and superb craftsmanship from Swan Architecture and Streeter Homes.

This is just one of the many decks, porches, and patios that this home has to offer. I would never leave that rocking chair...
Then again, this one is screened-in with a swing. Gaaah, I'm obsessed.
Let's head inside. Those windows though!! *Dog not included lol
This kitchen is MASSIVE and was a finalist in the 2016 worldwide Sub-Zero Wolf Kitchen Design Kitchen, according to the listing!
I'd actually cook with that view. WOW!
It just keeps going. The kitchen has a kitchen - they call it a primary with a catering kitchen. I didn't even know this was a thing.
This is nicer than some of the spas I've been to. This is one of 7 bathrooms. Could you imagine sitting in that tub with that view? Heavenly.
And when you're done with your shower, head out in your robe with a coffee and sit on the private deck - WHAT? Somebody pinch me.
It has it's own golf simulator!
And a movie theater!
When I first looked at this picture, I thought it was the basement. Nope, it's the garage with recreation space - 2,500 SF with hot/cold water, epoxied floor, and trench drains. It fits up to 8 cars!
The primary has it's own wing of the house!
There's also a second primary bedroom set up as an art studio currently.
The home has 5 bedrooms total.
And views like this from almost every space of the house.
Wow. Just, wow. This house is like a freaking resort.
It's located in Woodland, MN on Lake Minnetonka.
I can't get enough of the beach theme - the shiplap, light fixtures, and all the other adorable well thought out details.
Want this house? It's listed for $14,750,000.
Anyone want to go in on it with me? ;)
