In a post to The Interchange's Facebook page, yesterday owner Lisa Hanson stated that the business would remain open and "will continue to keep our doors open and offer dine-in. We also continue to offer curbside, carry out, online ordering, and delivery by way of door dash. We will be here to serve you as long as we possibly can." The Interchange, in Albert Lea, was served a cease-and-desist notice last week after having opened up for indoor dining service.

The post went on to detail the support the business received from the community and surrounding area after having opened back up for indoor dining.

"Patriots have come from near and far to show their support. You have donated your hard earned cash to our legal defense fund. You have been immensely generous with your tips to staff. You have offered much-needed words of encouragement. You have even given flowers, notes, and cards.Your support has strengthened us to continue the fight. 🇺🇸 Because of your support we have needed to bring staff back who had been laid off giving them an income once again." - Lisa Hanson owner of The Interchange

However, not all of the comments were supportive after the post was made.

The post as of this morning had been shared over 60 times and has resulted in numerous positive comments from people over Hanson's stance of opening up for indoor dining after Gov. Walz announced an extension of his prohibition of indoor dining at bars and restaurants as a part of his most recent Executive Order.
