More Than 100 People Were Arrested in Minnesota on New Year’s Eve
2018 got off to a rough start for these people...
According to the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety, 117 people were arrested for DWI over New Year's Eve. The arrests occurred between 6 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.
There was only one DWI arrest here in Rochester New Year's Eve. Three total over the weekend.
Southeast Minnesota had a low number of arrests with two arrests in Olmsted County, none in Freeborn County and two in Mower County.
With the 117 arrests on the final day of the year, it brings the total impaired driving arrests to 25,190 in 2017, compared to 23,392 in 2016.
