New Store in the Silver Lake Shopping Center

The locally owned Silver Lake Book Store is on the northern edge of the shopping center and isn't like most bookstores you've been to.

Spacious, with plenty of chairs, there's plenty of wildlife, fish tanks, and, of course, the owner's own work, too. Lisa Loucks Christensen is an author, wildlife photographer, filmmaker and more. If you think you've seen this store in the Subway, you did...they've moved above ground.

The store features new and used, and they do buy books. While I was there kids were browsing thru their collection. One shopper told me she wished the books were alphabetized, and I agree, that would make things much easier.
