Not Guilty Pleas Entered to Dozens of Charges in Rochester Child Porn Case
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man today entered not guilty pleas to dozens of child pornography-related charges.
28-year-old Arkady Pichurin was originally arraigned in March on 22 child pornography charges resulting from an investigation involving the seizure of electronic devices from his home in January. Since then, Olmsted County prosecutors have filed additional complaints containing another 28 charges against the Rochester man.
Some of the charges against Pichurin involved the use of minors in sexual performance/pornographic work and the original complaint listed a victim identified as a young girl in New York State. The additional complaints identified victims in Wisconsin, and Ohio.
Pichurin today waived his right to an evidentiary hearing and demanded a jury trial. His next court appearance has yet to be scheduled.
