Old Navy Just Closed This Popular Minnesota Store Location
The store closings continue across the Land of 10,000 Lakes, with Old Navy just having shut down this popular location.
While we're finally done with many parts of the pandemic, some of the long-term economic impacts are still being felt across the country, including here in the North Star State. While many stores still stayed open during the shutdowns of 2020, consumers became accustomed to doing more shopping online. And as a result, many retail chains are suddenly closing store locations without much notice.
Such is the case with this latest news from Old Navy, which announced earlier this week they're closing a popular store location here in the Bold North. Actually, the store is *already* closed.

According to BringMeTheNews, the Old Navy in the Promenade Shopping Center in Eagan closed its doors earlier this week. The Eagan Promenade is located off Yankee Doodle Road just east of 35E, and also includes stores like TJ Maxx, Barnes and Noble, PetSmart, Party City, and Lunds and Byerlys.
While that Old Navy location is now permanently closed, Old Navy is keeping its other Twin Cities stores open, including locations in Eagan's Twin Cities Premium Outlets, the Mall of America, as well as in Maple Grove, Minnetonka, Woodbury, Eden Prairie, St. Louis Park, and Roseville.
Old Navy's store locations in Rochester, Medford, Mankato, St. Cloud, and Duluth are also not closing. However, Old Navy's parent corporation, GAP, did also recently close its location in the Mall of America as well.
While the entire Old Navy brand IS still sticking around, that's not the case for many once-well-known stores and restaurants. Keep scrolling to take a look at some one-popular businesses that are no longer around!
