This bagel shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota gets rave reviews, including from Food & Wine Magazine! Rise Bagel Co. is about 90 minutes from Rochester, Minnesota and was named one of the best bagel shops in the entire country.

Scrolling through Rise Bagel Co.'s Instagram is making me hungry. These bagels look SO good!

Food & Wine confirms that they are delicious bagels by ranking them as one of the best in the country. The magazine writes that the "studiously careful operation makes some of the finest (and organic) bagels in the Midwest, filling them with very good cream cheese, and sustainable smoked salmon". The salmon comes from Minnesota small business, Northern Waters Smokehaus, in Duluth. They also fill their bagels with ingredients other than salmon and make amazing-looking breakfast sandwiches.

Rise Bagel Co. got its start in 2014 selling at farmer's markets. Eventually, they opened their own brick-and-mortar location in Minneapolis in 2017.

It sounds like these are to die for! Food & Wine raves about their bagels, saying "the end result [is] something like one of the finer home-baked bagels you'll ever try, shimmering, crisp on the outside, with just the right amount of soft interior."

They're only open for limited hours right now (or until they sell out, which I think they do on the weekends). Right now their hours are Wednesday through Sunday 8 AM - 1 PM. You can also order bagels online ahead of time HERE.

If you love these fresh bagels, you'll love the fresh pizza you can get at a pizza farm! Stay the night at this Airbnb/pizza farm that's 60 miles from Rochester where you can, of course, enjoy fresh, wood-fired pizzas. Keep scrolling to see pictures.
