Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - An Oronoco man who pleaded guilty to a DUI charge earlier this year will have a possible prison term hanging over his head the next few years that could be executed if he is caught again.

Court records show 27-year-old Blaine Akerson now has four DWI-related convictions on his record.

The most recent stems from a traffic stop in Rochester in November after he had been drinking and was driving without a license.

That arrest came just over a year after Akerson was caught driving under the influence when he was pulled over for doing 96 mph near Oronoco.

In the latest case, a judge gave Akerson a stayed three-year prison sentence and placed him on probation for 5 years. He was also ordered to serve 150 days in jail this year. He will also be required to serve 30-day jail sentences each year during the next four years.
