Dolly Parton and Pentatonix Take Home Best Country Duo / Group Performance at 2017 Grammy Awards
Dolly Parton and Pentatonix won Best Country Duo / Group Performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 12), for their collaborative remix of Parton's 1973 hit "Jolene." The honor was handed out during the Premiere Ceremony, which streamed online before the televised awards show.
Neither the a cappella group nor Parton was there to accept the award, so presenter Brandon Urie (of Panic! at the Disco) accepted it on their behalf, saying, "Love you guys."
Other nominees for Best Country Duo / Group Performance included Dierks Bentley's "Different for Girls" (featuring Elle King), Brothers Osborne's "21 Summer," Kenny Chesney and Pink's "Setting the World on Fire" and Chris Young and Cassadee Pope's "Think of You."
The 2016 winner for the Best Country Duo / Group Performance category was Little Big Town, for their song "Girl Crush."
