Plainview’s Olde Fashioned Christmas is This Weekend
Reindeer, Santa, hot cocoa, sleigh rides and all things Christmas will be happening this weekend. Here are all the details.
The small town will transform, and have a Victorian look with magical things happening throughout the weekend.
The fun and festivities begin Friday (December 1st) with the Festival of Trees and Christmas sale at the community center.
Saturday morning will kick off with a cookie walk at the Cheer building at 7:30a, and another at Good Shepard Lutheran Church at the same time. Throughout the day, enjoy warm fruit cobbler, chili and chestnuts roasted over an open fire. Come 5p, meet Santa and Mrs Claus, their reindeer, and take a ride on a horse drawn wagon ride.
Meet more of your favorite Christmas characters throughout the weekend. The Frozen princesses will be at Cabin Coffee, plus the Grinch will be sure to make an appearance.
Not to mention, you can do some Christmas shopping! Several stores in town will have big sales all weekend including The Woods - Fine Amish furniture, The Magnolia Cottage, Front Porch Market, and Rare Necessities.
