Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Wabasha Police Department is reporting the arrest of a man following a stand-off at the Hiawatha Mobile Home Park Friday afternoon.

Wabasha Police Chief Joe Stark says officers went to a residence in the mobile home park shortly after 3pm to execute a search warrant, but occupant of the home refused to respond. Based on information that dangerous weapons and materials could be present, Wabasha Police requested assistance from the Wabasha-Goodhue County Emergency Response Team.

Chief Stark says the stand-off ended peacefully about two hours later when the man surrendered and was transported to the Wabasha County jail.

Officials have not said what was found inside the home and what charges the man might face.
