There are a million reasons to love Luke Bryan, but in honor of his birthday, we narrowed it down to 44. All these years after the release of his debut single, this country superstar has still got it. At 44, the Georgia native is still shaking what his mama gave him on massive tours, lining up No. 1 singles and taking home award after award — even Entertainer of the Year!

But these are just a few reasons we love the “One Margarita” singer.

Bryan’s dreams of moving to Nashville were pushed back after a family tragedy, so he held off on his musical aspirations and went to college. The tragedy still affects him, but he’s always willing to open up about it to inspire others dealing with similar situations. Once he finally made it to Music City, Bryan was a force to be reckoned with. Fans quickly started falling in love with his music and live shows — and, of course, his pelvic thrusts. Years later, Bryan is still enchanting audiences and making fans fall more and more in love with him.
