There's a reptile zoo in Southern Minnesota that would be a great place for you and your kids to check out! You've been to the Minnesota Zoo and Como Zoo plenty of times, now it's time to try out the Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Zoo (a.k.a. the RAD Zoo).

The RAD Zoo is just under an hour west of Rochester in Owatonna. They haven't been open for super long, they first opened in October of 2009. They say on their website that they're "already one of the worlds largest reptile displays."

There are over 150 kinds of animals for you to learn about at the RAD Zoo. You can learn about what they eat, their natural habitat, etc. There are also plenty of opportunities to get up close and personal with some of the animals. Their website says you can pet an alligator and a snake. You can also feed some lettuce to turtles.

Check out more information about the RAD Zoo on their website or Facebook page!
