Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester City Council Monday night approved assessments on property owners along a section of N. Broadway that will be reconstructed.

The unanimous vote came after the council heard from some of the affected property owners during a public hearing. The council also approved a request to seek bids for the project, which has an estimated price tag of $19.2-million.

The work will affect the section of Broadway between Civic Center Dr on the south and Silver Lake on the north.
