La Crosse, WI (KROC AM News) - It appears the Rochester area may be getting more snow this weekend, enough to set another record.
The National Weather Service is forecasting snow to develop Sunday morning and by the time it tapers off, totals could be in the 2 - 4 inch range. That would easily set another daily snowfall record. The 2.1 inches that fell Tuesday was a record for Oct. 20th and among the snowiest days for the month of October.
A few more inches Sunday would also make it one of the snowiest Octobers on record for the city.
It will also turn colder after the snow system moves out with high temperatures only around 30 Monday and Tuesday. Low temps Tuesday morning could be in the low teens.
