Police located the vehicle a few hours later parked in the 400 block of 31st St NE. The key was not inside the vehicle.

The couple later told police someone had entered their home and stole the woman’s purse and the man’s wallet.

The thief apparently used the house key that was on the car key ring to gain entrance.
