Rochester DJ Risks Her Life and Learns What it Takes to be a Cirque Italia Performer (Video)
Cirque Italia has taken over the Apache Mall for the weekend. This exciting show is filled with water, acrobats and so much more. The crew invited me out for a few hours to learn what it takes to be apart of their show and we documented it with some Facebook live videos to prove to you I should keep my day job! Hopefully, this gives you a good laugh!
I started my journey with the expert juggler, Victor. He spent some time with me trying to teach me to juggle. Let's say that he had his work cut out for him! Just check out this video and you'll see why.
Next, we did some clowning around! No... we were literally clowning around. What we learned here is I can't throw and I probably shouldn't be a clown!
Okay... I have officially decided that I'm going to start training for Cirque Italia 2020 and become an acrobatic star. If you go 10 minutes into this video, you'll see me try and hang from the ceiling. Samantha is amazing at her job and was an amazing teacher. It's going to take a lot of practice, but that was the most fun thing I've ever done! Hands down!
I'm a dare-devil and most things don't scare me! I put my life in the hands of an archer I met five minutes before he shot a balloon out of my mouth. Let's say there was almost a puddle under me while this video was being shot.
After all the fun, I went back later that night to see all the performers in action. Even this 24 years old was laughing and mesmerized during every act. There are multiple performances throughout the weekend. If you have time, you should definitely go check it out.
