
Rochester Man Knocked Out And Robbed Early Thursday

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man reported he was knocked out and robbed early Thursday.
The 44-year-old man called 911 from the Kwik Trip store at the intersection of South Broadway and 20th St around 2:00 am.
He told officers he was walking on the east side of the highway when a car pulled up and stopped. The victim said a man got out of the car and demanded his wallet. The victim said he complied and the man then hit him over the head with a “hard object.”
The man told officers he blacked out momentarily. When he came to he saw the car driving away. He described it as a gray or black Mitsubishi Eclipse model.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics but declined a ride to the hospital.
He told police there was a small amount of cash in his wallet.
