Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police today reported the arrests of two teenage car prowlers.

A spokesman says officers were called to the 700 block of 36th St., Southwest around 1:45 this morning after a citizen reported seeing two people foraging through unlocked vehicles. After a brief foot chase, police arrested 18-year-old Jonathan Joy of Rochester and a 17-year-old male suspect.

They allegedly stole items from 15 unlocked vehicles. A spokesman says officers recovered suspected stolen property that included a handgun, a knife, sunglasses, cash, and alcohol.
