Rochester Police Investigating Shooting
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)-Rochester Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s north side.
Officers responded to the Gates of Rochester apartment complex on 41st St. NW around 10 p.m. Thursday. Police say witnesses saw a subject pull out a handgun and fire three or four rounds at a vehicle. There were no reports of injuries as of Friday morning.
The subject then fled the area on foot. Witnesses described the shooter as a masked black man in his early 20’s with a thinner build, standing between 5’5" and 5’8".
Officers have yet to locate a suspect and have yet to receive a report of a vehicle or person being shot at, Captain Casey Moilanen said Friday morning. He said police did not find shell casings at the scene but did report seeing broken glass that possibly came from a vehicle.
