Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Police Department is investigating a reported shooting in southeast Rochester.

Police said officers were called to the 1500 block of 10th Street SE just after 4:00 p.m. Saturday. A witness told officers that a subject was driving west on 10th street and shooting a handgun out the window.

Other witnesses in the area did not see the shooting but did say they heard something that sounded like gunshots or a car backfiring.

Authorities said that eight shell casings were found in the street. There were no injuries and no damage to property.

The witness did not have a description of the suspect or the vehicle.

Police are investigating the incident.
