Rochester Reporter Leaving Fox 47

Another Rochester reporter has announced that they are leaving the news desk and moving on to another adventure in life.

Erin O'Brien, who works at Fox 47, made the announcement on her Instagram and Facebook pages that her last day will be Thursday, August 1st.  She's not going too far though...

Another big life announcement: next Thursday will be my last day with FOX 47. Friday I start a new job in Rochester with the Destination Medical Center Economic Development Agency! I will be the Communications Specialist, a new position that will focus on marketing, media relations, and social media.
For my friends not from Rochester, DMC is the largest economic initiative in Minnesota’s history. It is a 20-year effort aimed at solidifying Rochester as the premier destination in the world for medical care and innovation. It’s using millions of dollars of public investment and billions of dollars in private investment to help Rochester grow, in the form of new hotels, residential buildings, renovated historic buildings, transportation and infrastructure improvements, thousands of new jobs, and much more.
