Rochester Saw First 60-Degree Day in Five Months

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - It wasn’t even close to setting a record, but many Rochester residents reveled this afternoon as the Rochester area experienced its first day with 60-degree warmth in five months.
The unofficial high temperature at the Rochester Airport was 61-degrees, which is about 15-degrees above the average, it was still 13-degrees shy of the record for March 27th. The last time the city saw 60-degree weather was October 22nd when the mercury reached 63-degrees.
Across the region, many communities saw afternoon highs in the low 60s. Austin reported a high of 64-degrees, but it appears La Crosse had the warmest reading of 66-degrees.
