The high heat and humidity didn't stop many of Rochester's furry four-legged residents from getting out and enjoying some baseball with the Honkers at Mayo Field on Sunday!

Sunday, July 15th was Bark In The Park day with the Honkers, and I had the pleasure of hanging out with some way-cute canines as they made their way into scenic Mayo Field.

We handed out a ton of Quick Country 96.5 can coozies and took a ton of selfies-- between wiping the accumulating sweat off our brows, of course-- as we enjoyed a beautiful summer day as the Honkers went on to beat the Mankato Moondogs 13 to 3!

Shout-out to Leashes and Leads for co-sponsoring the event yesterday and to Snickers, the chocolate lab (and her dad) for helping to toss out the first pitch, too. My pitch crossed the plate, but was juuusssst a bit outside (as Bob Ueker said in the movie Major League), but at least it made to the catcher!

Thanks to everybody who came out to Bark In The Park. Check out all the photos from yesterday's game...

Listen to Curt St. John from 6 to 10 a.m. on Quick Country 96.
