Rochester Woman Arrested After Stolen Gun Found In Her Home

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A Rochester woman was arrested Tuesday evening after a stolen gun was found in her apartment.

Rochester officers were assisting Burnsville police in executing a search warrant at a unit at the Heritage Manor Apartments complex when the 9 mm handgun was found in a bedroom. Police say the gun was among the items taken in a residential burglary earlier this month.

Taken into custody was 21-year-old Sarah Mohamed Hassan.

Police haven’t said what the Burnsville investigators were looking for.
