Rochester Woman Breaks Leg in Snowmobile Wreck
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman is lucky she wasn’t seriously hurt or worse after being involved in a late night snowmobile wreck.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s office released information about the accident Friday morning. It happened around 1:00 AM Thursday on Lake Zumbro.
Capt. Scott Behrns says 25-year-old Samantha Fuller was riding in front of another snowmobile driven by 38-year-old Theodore Paizis of Rochester when she made a sudden turn. Behrns says Paizis could not stop in time and hit Fuller’s snowmobile on the side, breaking her leg. Paizis suffered a wrist injury.
Behrns says alcohol was not a factor and no tickets were issued.
The accident happened near Fisherman’s Inn.
