Scotty McCreery Hasn’t Sent His Wedding Thank You Notes Yet
Scotty McCreery's Seasons Change Tour started Nov. 29, so he's had a lot on his mind. One thing the newlywed hasn't been thinking about? Sending wedding thank you notes.
"We probably have about half of them out," McCreery confesses to Taste of Country in a recent interview. He married longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal in June. "Gabi is doing most of them but I’ll sign them or whatever. People can’t read my handwriting," he adds.
The couple said "I do" June 16, 2018 in their native North Carolina in front of 200 family and friends, who dined on Cajun cuisine and danced the night away.

Honestly, McCreery isn't too concerned that some of those thank you notes haven't found their way into the mailbox just yet.
"Somebody told us that we had, like, a year," he assures. "The etiquette people told us."
Indeed, McCreery has other important things on his mind, including getting used to being a married man — a man who often goes by the nickname of Scooter.
"(Gabi) called me Scooter," the country star admits, laughing as he shares. "Everybody back home calls me Scooter. Me and my wife have been together for seven years and we’ve been married like four months, but I could probably count on one hand the number of times she has called me Scott ... and when she does, I’m normally in trouble. Normally she just called me Scoot and everyone else calls me Scooter."
He concedes, "It's just what it is."
The Seasons Change Tour started in Dallas this week and runs through Jan. 26, as it stands currently.
