Minnesota Says This Is the Hottest Job in the State

When it comes to professions, not all jobs are created equal-- at least when it comes to those we find the most attractive. And the hottest profession in Minnesota is one we're all likely familiar with!

Minnesota Has Nearly 3 Million Jobs

Despite what you might have heard, business is booming here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes these days. According to CareerForce, Minnesota is home to almost 200,000 business establishments, which provided nearly 2.9 million jobs in 2022.

The largest employing industries here in the North Star State are health care (493,750 jobs), manufacturing (323,365 jobs), retail trade (281,785 jobs), accommodation and food services (216,600 jobs), and educational services (225,200 jobs), CareerForce noted.

What Is Minnesota's Hottest Profession?

But out of all those positions, which jobs do we think are the hottest here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes? That's the question a new survey by Hidden set out to answer. Their number-crunchers looked at 45 professions to find which jobs people find most sexually attractive here in Minnesota and across the country.

And which profession do we find the hottest? Why, that would be... teachers! According to Hidden:

Teachers are the most sexually attractive profession in the world. Over 1 million people are looking for hot teacher photos online every year, more than nurses, doctors, and firefighters combined. In the US alone, more than 216K residents are actively searching for the same content.

Wow! I mean, I did kinda have a crush on Miss Bennett, my fourth-grade teacher back in the day at Rothschild Elementary over in Wisconsin, but I had no idea that overall we all thought educators were so hot!

Other professions we also think are pretty hot, according to Hidden, include nurses, cowboys, police officers, and firefighters, which all placed in the top five this year. Here's the entire list:

Hidden says these results aren't actually a surprise, noting that they're similar to results from dating app surveys as well. "When Tinder started letting users add their jobs to profiles, they found that firefighters and teachers were among the most right-swiped professions on the platform," Drew Renna, Head of Brand and Creators of Hidden, said of their survey.
