I will never live in Minnesota without a snowblower. I just won't. It's worth every penny. Not that I'm lazy, I just work smarter.

Doctors are warning people to be careful when shoveling snow. According to a study in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine, hospitals treat an average of 11,500 snow-shoveling injuries a year.

Other findings:

- 66% of shoveling injuries occur in men, while 15% occur in children under 18

- 50% of shoveling injuries are muscle-related, 20% are from slips and falls, and 7% are from cardiac problems, such as heart attacks.
