SocialICE Set For Next Weekend In Rochester

It's the coolest event of the winter here in Rochester: It's SocialICE 2017, and it's set for next weekend downtown on the Peace Plaza.

SocialICE is, of course, powered by the Rochester Downtown Alliance, and features 7 different downtown bars and restaurants set up their wares on some way-cool ice bars-- yes, 12-foot bars made of actual ice-- outside on the Peace Plaza.

It'll be up and running Thursday, February 16th from 5 to 9 p.m.; then again on Friday, February 17th and Saturday the 18th from 4 to 10 p.m.

And, of course, each establishment has their own unique drink, too. Plus, there's some incredible lighting effects, music, ice sculptures, a wide selection of beer and wine, and more. Oh. And here's the best part: It's free.

I'll be hanging out live during the opening night of SocialICE, on Thursday, February 16th, from 5 to 6:30. I'll be the annoying guy with the selfie stick, taking as many selfies as I can.
