Soldier Returns Home to Surprise Mom and Dad at Thursdays on First [Video]

I got a chance to be a part of something really special recently. It's always great when a soldier can return home to his or her loved ones. And it's even better when the return is a surprise! Recently, at one of Rochester's Thursdays on First events, I had the chance to be part of a wonderful surprise homecoming. I was serving as emcee for that evening's music when I was asked to play a role in the surprise.

I got Bruce and Bonnie Gibson to come on stage thinking they had to come up to 'pick up a prize they won'. Little did they know we had the best prize ever... their son Eric. See for yourself how it all went down.

But just a little warning, you're going to want to have some tissues handy. Your eyes may get a little watery from watching it.
