Ms. Baden Minnesota Volleyball finalist senior Payton Suess leads some players from the KDHL listening area on the All-State team named during the State Banquet Wednesday night.  The 6'0 senior will be on the hardwood at Wake Forest next year playing volleyball.  Teammate and classmate libero 5'4 Bailey Berge was also named to the team.

5'7 junior Ally Peterson of Kenyon-Wanamingo was also selected to the Class 2A All-State 1st Team.  Peterson is one of the hardest hitting outside hitters in the ever-tough Hiawatha Valley League.  Also named to the Class 2A 1st team is sophomore Erin Lamb of Stewartville.  Belle Plaine junior 5'9 Mikayla Coops joined the 1st team.  Stewartville junior Kaitlyn Prondzinski was Honorable Mention All-State.

Faribault Bethlehem Academy senior libero 5'4 Olivia Nass made All-State Honorable Mention in Class A.  Named to the All-State 1st Team were Waterville-Elysian-Morristown senior 5'5 MaeLea Harmon, junior Lydia Lange of Caledonia, senior Mariah Edgington of Spring Grove.

In Class 3A  Lakeville South landed two people on the All-State 1st team with senior libero 5'7 Alena Moldan and 6'0 senior Jasmine Mulvihill.  Lakeville North senior and Ms. Baden Volleyball Finalist Elizabeth Juhnke is on the first team while her Panthers teammate and classmate Tori Thompson was named All-State Honorable Mention in Class 3A.

Champlin Park landed three players on the All-State 1st team including 2018 Ms. Baden Volleyball Player of the Year senior Izzy Ashburn and seniors Emma Schmidt and Kaitlyn Weimerskirch.  Eagan sophomore Kennedi Orr and senior Elle Huseman were selected.  Rosemount libero senior Marissa Hinkle is on the 1st team.  Junior Sophia Anderen of New Prague and senior Nicole Lund of Rochester Century also landed on the Honorable Mention Class 3A team.
