One of Minnesota's biggest events suffered a major blow yesterday when a massive fire broke out and burned several buildings and hundreds of vendor booths to the ground.
For their 50th anniversary, magic and comedy act Penn and Teller will be returning to the stage where it all began: the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
Penn & Teller, made up of Penn Jillette (the tall, talkative one) and Teller (the short, silent one), have been performing together for 50 years. And believe it or not, it all started here in Minnesota.
Minnesota is known for big festivals from the Blues Fest in Duluth, to Renaissance Festival In Shakopee, to even the Great Minnesota Get Together, which by definition is a festival.
