There are quite a few homes under $50k in Minnesota, believe it or not.

Yes, most of the list are fixer uppers, but I made sure to go through and pick out the ones that had the most potential or at least the ones that weren't listed as a "tear down" or "enter at your own risk."

Hadley, MN

Built in 1953, this home has 1,092 square feet with 2 bedrooms and one bath.

The listing calls it a fixer-upper property surrounded by the beautiful Summit Lake. "With a little TLC, you can unlock the hidden value of this property and enjoy the rewards." It's listed at $40,000.

5. 125 N Podoll St
Appleton, MN

The listing calls it an investment opportunity on the edge of town!

Built in 1948, the house is listed at $35,999.

The home is 725 square feet with 2 bedrooms and one bath.

4. 445 Poplar Ave W
Greenbush, MN

It's a 4 bedroom, 2 bath manufactured home with a detached garage.

The listing says that it has new siding and new shingles on the addition. It could be yours for just $35,000.

3. 365 Centre St W
Vesta, MN

This 1905 build features 800 square feet with 3 bedrooms and one bath.

The listing agent calls it handyman special. It's listed at $29,900.

2. 50xx Banyan Dr
Garrison, MN

This one is kind of cool! It's a newly built 384 square foot cabin that's framed out, insulated, and ready for you to finish.

It has a fairly large lot - 0.67 acres and listed at $25,000.

1. 412 Westfall St
Beardsly, MN

This 1899 build is currently the most affordable house on the market. It's definitely a fixer upper and in need of a new roof among other things. BUT, it's listed at just $22,500.

It's 640 square feet with one bedroom, one bath, and a detached one car garage.

Unfortunately, most of these are nowhere near Rochester, so I went through and found the most affordable houses in Rochester as well.
