The Survival Guide to Life on Mars

Not for me. - Alan There are 700 people that are finalists to be the first humans to live on Mars. Anyone who makes it to Mars won't be coming back.

There are some fairly steep requirements to represent us on Mars:

-- First, there's no sex on Mars. There aren't enough provisions to take care of space babies, so people need to stay sterile.

-- No carbonated beverages on Mars or they'll explode, so that's no beer for you.

-- Say goodbye to any food that isn't freeze dried.

-- You'll be 35 million miles away from home so there won't be an easy way to keep in touch with your family and friends.

-- You'll need to be incredibly curious or else there isn't any way for you to be happy on Mars.

-- Make sure you have a tablet filled with books, there isn't any other way to pass the time.
