On a slow-paced long holiday weekend, I often go down the rabbit hole that is Twitter. I don't confess to being an avid Timberwolves fan, I prefer watching the NHL during the winter months, but every now and then I'll tune in. One of the newest players to the roster Jordan Bell, @1jordanbell, posted on Saturday night what one can only guess is a strange Top Gun volleyball homage video. All I gotta say is, even playing volleyball Andrew Wiggins doesn't appear to play any defense.

Check out the video below:

You've got head coach Ryan Saunders giving the high-five reverse low-five in a backward hat like Maverick and Goose.

This video was most likely shot as some Wolves took a trip to the Bahamas.

Going into the 2019-2020 NBA season the Timberwolves have not only an officially named new head-coach in Ryan Saunders, but they also have a new President of Basketball Operations in Gersson Rosas.

The team will begin their 2019-20 regular season on the road in Brooklyn on Wednesday, October 23 when they will take on the Nets, the teams first home game of the 2019-20 regular season will be versus the Miami Heat, and former Timberwolf now a member of the Heat Jimmy Butler, on Sunday, October 27.
