Every summer in Minnesota, we try and cram as much fun into 3 months as we possibly can. This year, I want to get out to some small towns that I don't frequent. I asked our listeners where to go to check out an awesome town festival, and we got an overwhelming amount of responses. Here are the highest rated town days to check out according to our listeners:

  • Mazeppa Daze (July 7-9)

Parade, street dance, tournaments, fireworks and more.

Kayla - "There is no festival in southern Minnesota that has as good as fireworks in Mazeppa."

  • Watermelon Festival in Kellogg (September 7-9)

The watermelon crawl, hello! ;) This festival was actually featured in Only In Your State.

  • Corn on the Cob Days in Plainview (August 18th and 19th)

The corn is AMAZING!! They also have tons of events throughout the weekend including Kids Olympics and games on Saturday.
