Tour de France Winner’s Kiss? Well, Maybe Not…

Ahh, a first kiss can be so awkward, can't it? Italian cyclist Vincenzo Nibali won Stage Two of the Tour de France cycling tournament this past Sunday, and naturally, was excited to take his place on the winner's podium-- and get a winner's kiss from the lovely model who was on stage with him. Or, maybe not...

Some European commentators have suggested the model, who hasn't been named, was turning away at that moment because she was supposed to present Nibali with a stuffed lion in addition to the flowers he'd just received-- and didn't necessarily mean to spurn his attempt for a celebratory peck on the cheek.
