Tragedy Strikes at Minnesota High School Football Game
Aitkin, MN (KROC-AM News) - A high school football player died last night after collapsing during a varsity game in northern Minnesota.
The Aitkin Police Department says 15-year-old Jackson Pfister collapsed on the field while playing for the Esko High School team against Aitkin High School. He was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital and died a short time later.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will try to determine the cause of death. Aitkin Police say additional information will be released once the investigation is complete.
