Two More Food Trucks Set to Open Today in Downtown Rochester
It's a new rite of spring in the Med City: The food trucks return and open for business in downtown Rochester!
Yes, as sure as the snow melting and ice-out on Minnesota lakes, another sign of spring is the return of food trucks to Rochester's downtown area.
Val already noted that one food truck was set to open Tuesday, and according to THIS story in the Med City Beat, two other food trucks are set to open today as well.
The story says that in addition to Twisted Barrel Wood Fired Pizza's food truck, food trucks from both Back Alley Kitchen and Catering For All It's Worth are both ready to start serving lunch to hungry Rochesterites.
If you recall, last year was the first year food trucks were allowed to legally operate in specified areas on city streets in Rochester. So, I'm excited to see them back again this year.
And, because two of them are located literally a block away from the Quick Country 96.5 Worldwide Headquarters downtown (I can almost see them from our office window!), I guess I know where I'll be going for lunch today! Woo hoo!
