The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced earlier this week that it was recalling Cargill ground beef due to possible E-coli contamination. Aldi Stores were the first chain mentioned in the recall.

But on Wednesday, the USDA expanded that recall to over 132,000 pounds of ground beef that was processed in June at a plant in Fort Morgan, Colorado. And it's been expanded to include two familiar chains here in Minnesota:

This KSTP-5 story says both Target and Sam's Clubs stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin were added to that recall list Wednesday. Officials say if you shopped at any of those three stores and bought ground beef, you'll want to check your freezer.

So just what should you look for in your freezer?  "According to the Food Safety and Inspection Service division of the USDA, the ground beef items were packaged on June 21, 2018, and have the establishment number "EST. 86R" inside the USDA inspection mark," the story said.

Aldi stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin were already included. You can find a complete list ground beef products affected by the recall HERE. And, you can get all the recall information from the USDA HERE.
