Uber Granted Rochester License
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Start checking your Uber app, as drivers are expected to be operating in the Rochester area soon, if not already.
Uber submitted an application for a Transportation Network Company license and it has been approved.
The Lyft ride share network was given the city’s first TNC license two weeks ago.
The Rochester City Council approved a TNC ordinance in December after spending months debating the issue. Work on the ordinance began after the city was contacted by Uber.
