Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A police response early Sunday to an unusual 911 call led to the arrest of a Rochester man and the seizure of a significant amount of methamphetamine.

Rochester police Captain Casey Moilanen says the 911 call came in around 12:20 Sunday morning, and while there was no response to the dispatcher's questions, the phone connection remained open and the conversation taking place inside a vehicle included a reference to pointing a gun at a woman. The cell phone was tracked and police located the vehicle at the AmericInn and officers found four adults, two men and two women, inside. It was also determined that a third woman had left before police arrived at the scene.

Captain Moilanen says the officers could see evidence of illegal drugs inside the vehicle and a search turned up about 175 grams of meth, 1 gram of cocaine, and 9 doses of LSD. One of the men, 48-year-old David Gorham of Rochester, was taken into custody on a first-degree drug charge.

The other man and the two women were not arrested. Police did not find a gun or any sign that there had been a firearm in the vehicle.
