Yesterday I posted this, "For a while now I've noticed a sign in an apartment window right next door to The Castle (used to be the Senior Citizen Center). You can see the sign in the picture above. It looks like one of those speech bubbles in cartoons. But what does it say?"

SIGN ON BROADWAY - 02

"Is there a terrible ache to life?"

I had no idea what it was all about. Fortunately, I found the answer, thanks to a listener, Angie M. She said it was part of an art project by an artist named Maria Cameron. In 2017, speech bubbles were placed all over town in an effort to get us thinking. According to a website about the exhibit...

Each thought bubble contains a direct question, each question seeks to provoke dialogue about renovation and renewal, inviting conversation about the meditative and often healing act of finding art in the every day. The viewer is given the opportunity to focus on some of the complicated questions that come with living, thriving, hurting, and healing.

Angie figures the one above was going to be thrown out, so the apartment tenant grabbed it and asks folks on Broadway to think about it.
