
Wabasha Man Killed in Grain Bin Accident

Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Wabasha Police Department has released information about a deadly accident that occurred Monday evening at a Wabasha business.
A news release says Wabasha Police were sent to Gerken's Feed and Grain around 7 PM after receiving reports of an employee of the business possibly missing in a grain bin. The man was identified as 67-year-old John Evers of Wabasha.
A rescue operation was launched and the grain bin was cut open to search for Evers, who was eventually found inside. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
