Seriously, someone please tell me what I just said! I picked up lunch from Chipotle, and noticed pig latin on the bag.

Yeah, again, I have no idea what it says! I'm thinking that they're declaring their food is all natural??? Am I wrong? What do you think it says?

Out of curiosity, I decided to look into how long "pig latin" has been used for. Apparently, it's been used for a LONG time! Wikipedia says, "Examples of this predate even Shakespeare, whose 1598 play, Love's Labor Lost, includes a reference to dog Latin"

Just to be clear, I learned that there is no official "pig latin" language... it's just a term. Kids and adults alike have used it for centuries to conceal words they didn't want recognized among other words. Today, it's a little more simple. "Pig Latin" isn't as complicated as it was, because all it entails now is adding "ay" to end of the word, and moving the first letter. Have you used "pig latin" before?
