Sunday's win over the Detriot Lions was a good one for everybody who's a Vikings fan. Well, everybody, except Joe Jurantich -- better known as 'Ragnar'-- that is.

Ragnar is -- or, has been until now -- the Vikings team mascot who, dressed as an actual Viking, would help rev up the crowd. But he was noticeably missing at TCF Bank Stadium Sunday. And, of course, social media was all over his absence.

According to a KARE-11 TV story, Jurantich, posted a somewhat cryptic Facebook message on his Ragnar page that said, "'It doesn't feel right sitting at home. This is not by my choice...I don't make those decisions..At this point it was made for me,' Juranitch wrote. 'I miss all my fans and your support ...let's all stay positive as we move forward.'" The post was accompanied by a sad-looking Ragnar, still dressed in his Vikings gear, but watching the game on TV.

The Vikings, of course, haven't officially commented on what happened to Ragnar. The story said he'd been along the sidelines, usually on his purple and gold motorcycle, cheering for the Vikings for over 20 years. His first season with the team was way back in 1994.

Will Ragnar be back this year? Will he move to the new US Bank Stadium? Right now, no one seems to know...
