We talk all the time about Minnesota Nice, but check out what one New York hotel did: They went all out to help a woman find her lost love connection, just in time for Valentine's Day.

According to this ABC News story, it all started when Devin Custalow, who's 25, connected with a 'cute guy' on the subway in New York. Devin says (and her friend concurs) that they had a 'strong attraction' to each other despite not ever saying a word.

And there's the problem. Devin and her friend reached their stop before either she or the cute 'yellow shoes guy' ever said anything to each other, despite their attraction. She posted a missed connection story on Craigslist, the story said, which is where the Park MGM Hotel saw it.

They then took her message and created a 20-foot mural in New York, complete with the plea: "If you're out there, meet here on Valentine's Day, 2/14 at 1:00 p.m." Aww!

They also put out the word on all of their social media platforms. The story noted that a manager at the Park MGM said, "We found Devin's story to be equal parts heartwarming and relatable," he said in a statement. "After hearing this, we felt we had to do something, and live up to our romantic ideals, and that's why we put our resources behind Devin’s story. If it's meant to be, she'll find the guy in the yellow shoes," the story said.

I could totally see something like this happening here in Minnesota, couldn't you? And, seeing as even the Twin Cities (and certainly Rochester) are much smaller than New York City, we'd probably have had a connection for Devin by now, too.

We've all probably wanted to at one time in our lives, but would you ever do anything like this?
