We've all felt the pain and major frustration of sitting and having to do homework. It's not fun for kids, and it's certainly not fun for adults either.

Would it be any better if parents gave their kids some space, but could still make sure the work was being done?

I'm not a parent, so I can't answer this one... but from a kids' perspective, I think they'd agree homework time might go more smoothly if they weren't being forced to sit with a parent. However, parents want to make sure the work is done (and don't want to sit and force them either) - so, there could be a solution.

According to security firm Blink, 18% of parents would watch their children on a security camera to make sure they were doing their homework.

Maybe this is an easier way to eliminate frustration on both sides, while making sure the work is still done. Would you agree that this is a solution?
